Rockwatching at Cayton Bay in Yorkshire on Tuesday 28 August – 2018

Explore the fabulous area of Cayton Bay on the Yorkshire Coast with Will Watts and the Hidden Horizons team.  Cayton Bay has a fantastic mix of Middle and Upper Jurassic rocks plus glacial erratics from all over Northern Europe, a collector’s dream!

Will Watts, a long time friend of Rockwatch, has been involved in this area of the country for a few years now and he and the team are able to show you where to look, identify your finds and help ‘get your eye’ in!  A great day out for Rockwatch families – and with toilets, a café and free parking what more can you ask!

Rockwatch has arranged to go on a fieldtrip with Hidden Horizons.  You have to book through the Eventbrite website

https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/cayton-bay-fossil-hunting-trip-28-aug-18-tickets-46014118467

and for Rockwatchers there is a special price of just £2.50 per ticket.  Unlock it by using the promotional code ‘Rockwatch’.

Remember to send us photos of what you find!  Have a great day out.
