Join Rockwatch over Half Term at two fun-filled days of geology games and activities!
Uxbridge Rock Show
When: Monday 12 February from 9.30am.
Where: Uxbridge Library, High St, Uxbridge UB8 1HD – very close to Uxbridge Station (Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines)
With: Rockwatch have teamed up with the Harrow & Hillingdon Geological Society to liven up half term for young geology lovers of all ages.
What: There will morning and afternoon geology-related activities to get involved with including hands-on displays, games, quizzes and challenges covering a wide range of topics including Global Geoparks, the Jurassic Coast, local geology and rivers. See the Rock Show website for more details.

Meet a Megalosaurus!
When: Tuesday 13 February from 10am-4pm
Where: The Upper Library, The Geological Society, Burlington House, Piccadilly, W1J 0BG (nearest tube stations are Piccadilly Circus and Green Park)
With: Rockwatch have teamed up with The Geological Society for one of their Dinosaur Discovery Days over half term which forms part of Society’s Megalosaurus Month. Throughout half term there are a number of special family-friendly Dinosaur Discovery Days where you can meet a Megalosaurus and take part in some fun, engaging and interactive activities.
What: There will be plenty of hands-on experiences to take part in including getting up close and personal with a real Megalosaurus skeleton, playing the Dinosaur Jukebox, hands-on demonstrations, experiments and much more.
