Join Bob Chandler, an expert on the geology of this area of Dorset, who will be leading the hunt for Jurassic fossils. The rocks of Dorset and East Devon cover some 180 million years of Earth’s history and are unique in the world in that they straddle 3 geological periods – the Jurassic, Cretaceous and Tertiary, but this trip focuses on finding Jurassic fossils.
