Come along to sunny Hastings on the Sussex coast for a fossil hunt on the beach and a visit to the Shipwreck Museum.
We’ll be having a slide presentation about the ‘Fossils and Dinosaurs of Hastings’ on a large screen in the Shipwreck Museum – which sounds very exciting in itself! There’ll be a chance to see and handle dinosaur bones.
Then in the afternoon it’s off to the coast at Rock-a-Nore to see what we can find. Experts will be on hand to help you spot things and also tell you what you’ve found!
You must be a Rockwatch member to go and the booking fee for this fieldtrip is £2.50 per individual. All children attending and their accompanying adults must book places.

Due to safety requirements numbers are strictly limited for some of the events. It is essential in these cases that you reserve a place through the contact given. Leaders reserve the right not to accept members who have not booked, or who arrive inappropriately dressed. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
