The inaugural Geologists’ Association Student Symposium (GASS) is being held in London on Friday 19th May.  It is aimed at undergraduates and post-graduate students but may be of interest to older Rockwatchers.  Talks and posters will be presented by students in a friendly, informal setting giving the public, industry and academia an excellent opportunity  to meet the next generation of geoscientists.  There will be ample opportunity to connect with ‘real life’ geologists and get career advice should you want it!

The keynote speaker for the day is Professor Iain Stewart, Director of the Sustainable Earth Institute, Plymouth University.
