THIS FIELDTRIP IS NOW FULLY BOOKED BUT IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO GO ON A WAITING LIST EMAIL GERALDINE hello@rockwatch.org.uk

A fabulous fieldtrip on the ‘Isle of Axholme’, Frodingham.  A trip with geology as detective work – and the first thing you will discover is that the ‘Isle of Axholme’ is not an island at all!

The job of a geologist is almost like a detective in that you look for clues, collect evidence then put everything together logically to ‘solve the mystery’!

And you’ll be doing all this in a disused quarry near Epworth.

Susan Brown and local geologist, Paul Hildreth, will be on hand to help you with your deductions.

A great and fascinating day out.

Over 7s only.

From 10.30am – 3.00pm

You must be a Rockwatch member to go and the booking fee for this fieldtrip is £2.50 per individual.  All children attending and their accompanying adults must book places.
