Bucks Geology Group – Sunday April 24:  Fieldtrip to Coombs Quarry near Buckingham.

Start at 10.00am and ending at about 3.00pm. 

This is a beautiful walk with Dr Jill Eyers taking in the medieval Thornborough Bridge and Roman barrows before exploring the Jurassic rocks and fossils of the quarry.   It is a walk across a meadow and down into a very safe old quarry and nature area.   Bring your own picnic to have in the quarry.
