Bracklesham Bay Day Poster 26 April 2025If you love fossils and geology, then don’t miss this incredible opportunity to dig into Earth’s history at Bracklesham Bay on Saturday 26th April 2025!

The day kicks off with GeoLab, an interactive morning filled with fascinating geological experiments and activities. Try your hand at rock sorting, weathering tests, a wax volcano, and even a study on horse evolution! GeoLab is the perfect way to learn about the forces that shaped our planet while having lots of hands-on fun.

After lunch, we’ll head to Bracklesham Bay, a well-known fossil-hunting location with Rockwatch’s David Bone and his wife Anne. Every tide reveals new fossil treasures, and you could find shark and ray teeth, beautiful shells, corals, and other marine fossils from the Eocene era, over 50 million years ago!
