Rockwatchers may be interested in The Geology of your technology! – a BGS Virtual Rock Workshop.

Explore geology from the comfort of your own home. Become a mini geologist and learn how to start identifying rocks for yourself! Find out how geology plays an important role in the technology we use every day.

The workshop will take place on Monday 24 October at 16:00pm. The event is aimed at families with children age 8 to 13 and those interested in earth science.
