Virtual GA Student Symposium 2021
Older Rockwatchers are invited to register for this year’s Virtual GA Student Symposium (vGASS) 2021 on the Geologists’ Association website.
The event will be run virtually over two half days; the afternoon of Thursday 20 May and the morning of Friday 21 May 2021.
vGASS presents a unique opportunity for geology students to share their research not only with their peers but with professional and amateur geologists as well and delegates will have the opportunity to hear talks by Dr Mike Simmons on Geoscience and the Energy Transition and Prof. Iain Stewart and Dr Dr Özlem Adiyaman Lopes (UNESCO) on an International Geoscience Programme enabling geoscientists to achieve sustainable development goals.
The events costs £10 to register but discounts are available through local GA Groups.
